Using the UAH-SACS Web Site
Welcome to the UAH-SACS site. This section provides information about the technological requirements, tools, and navigational features that will provide users best access to the site.
Technology Requirements

» Hardware.
To
use this site, both PC and MAC users should have 128MB
of RAM or greater PC users should have Windows 98SE
capability or greater. MAC users should have MAC OS
10.2 or greater.

» Software.
For
best results, both PC and MAC users should use Internet
Explorer. Version 5.0+ is preferred. (This site is
not optimized for Netscape, and using this browser
may cause errors. MAC users should not use Safari).
Files with the following icon  or any other Portable
Document Format (pdf) files require Adobe
Acrobat Reader 6.0.
Click the following icon  and follow
the instructions to download a free copy.

» Settings
For
the best viewing capability,
computers should be set with a screen resolution of 800
x 600 or greater. To set the resolution on a PC:
- Left-click the “Start” button
located at the bottom left of the screen.
- Scroll to “Settings.”
- Click “Control Panel.”
- Click “Display.”
- Click the tab for “Settings.”
- Under “Screen Area,” slide
to adjust to 800 x 600 or higher.
To set the resolution on a MAC:
- Go to “Systems Preferences.”
- Click “Displays.”
- Choose the correct resolution.
- Close the box

Features
This site has several features designed
to facilitate navigation.
- The homepage is set up as a basic site map
of UAH-SACS to provide easy access to the different
sections.
- The homepage provides a link
to a “Site
Overview” (link to overview) that provides
an explanation of each section
of the site.
- A “search box” located
in the
top section of the screen allows
for key-word searches.
- The red bar in the
top section of the
site provides links to the most-often used
sections of this site.
- The gray bar
in the bottom
section of the screen
provides links to various
sections of the UAH
main site.
