Research in the Liberal Arts is a multifarious, delightful kaleidoscope of what it is that makes us human and what contributes to our humanity. Performance and creative activities, research, and scholarship continue to flourish within the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and thereby strengthen the learning environment for both undergraduate and graduate students.
Because our College exists within a research university, students have the opportunity to learn through inquiry, working with talented scholar-professors. Students and faculty continue to utilize their scholarly tools and resources – performance and art studios, laboratories, libraries, faculty offices, and the Humanities Center – to produce art forms, manuscripts, analyses, and applications. Their accomplishments impact not only the world or scholars, musicians, and artists, but also the world of corporations, civic organizations, and the general public. The Liberal Arts thrive because they strive to optimize the human condition.
We invite you to enjoy the productivity of an institution that values the integration of research and teaching. Read the latest issue of Quest, the Liberal Arts Research Review or the UAH Research Review.
