Teaching Credentials

Faculty: Includes tenure, tenure-track, and other full-time and part-time faculty. Department chairs and their respective deans assure faculty qualifications consistent with SACS guidelines, and deans' offices maintain faculty transcripts for the highest earned degree. The UAH Web-based Teaching Credentials system also includes selected personnel whose primary responsibilities are not instructional, but who have appropriate academic credentials and teach courses, conduct research, direct students, assist with research projects of students, direct field work of students, or provide consultation on research or instructional projects.

GTAs: All GTAs are approved in accordance with SACS guidelines.
